Dr. Mike Murphy is an expert in the structure and tectonics of Tibet and the Himalaya. He is the current the Director of the , which many ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ students have participated in over the years.
He will present research which explores the nature of the subduction zone underlying the Himalaya and its impact on active faulting, surface uplift, and earthquake patterns.
All ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ staff, students, and faculty are welcome!
